While Harrisburg Police continue to search for the driver of a white car that ran down and killed a young woman Saturday night, family and friends gathered Wednesday evening, searching for comfort and a way to make sense of the senseless.
They returned to the scene of the crime for a candlelight vigil. Keri Ann Miller's friends and family prayed, cried, and asked for justice. They're hoping someone, somewhere saw who hit and killed Keri at 13th and Market Streets. Keri's life suddenly ended while walking to the store with her boyfriend around 8:00 p.m. She was 20 years old.
"It's a shame that a young person's life has to be cut short before she really has a chance to get it started," said Candy Boyd, Keri's Aunt.

"She was a really good person," said friend Justine Speroff. "It's sad because she's going to be really missed. She was really loved. I will always love her."
Her family and friends still can't believe what happened. "She was a victim of a very terrible, terrible crime," said Keri's Mom, Cathy Eslinger.
Police are trying to track down the suspect. They're on the look-out for an early 90s model, white-colored car, possibly a Lincoln or a Cadillac. Investigators believe the vehicle may have front-end damage.
Boyd made a passionate plea for justice. "We need this closure," she said. "I'm just pleading. If somebody knows something, please help us find these people to put final rest to this."
"We know she's in a better place," she added.
There is a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call Harrisburg Police at 255-3131.
