Barto, Pa. - A six-year-old Berks County boy took a small knife to school and threatened several classmates this morning, according to state police.
Police say the boy approached four students in a restroom and began to swing the knife in the air and towards the other boys at Washington Elementary School in Barto. The school is in the Boyertown Area School District.
The four students threatened with the knife returned to their classrooms and reported the incident, according to police.
The boy, who was not identified, faces charges of attempted assault and terroristic threats.
