Lancaster County Couple Dies in Fire

A Lancaster County couple died as the result of a fire in their home early this morning.
State police identified the victims as 72-year-old Emanuel Zook and his wife, 68-year-old Zook. Their bodies were found in an upstairs bedroom after the fire on Osceola Mill Road near Gordonville.
Police said the Zooks died as a result of smoke inhalation. The deaths have been ruled accidental.
Police said the fire, which began just after 6:30 a.m., was caused by combustible materials that were near a heater on the first floor.
