York City Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect in the robbery of the M & T Bank branch at 800 East Market Street this afternoon.
Just before 3:00 p.m., police said the suspect demanded money from a teller, took the money and fled south through the parking lot and west on Mason Avenue.
The robber did not display any weapons.
The suspect is described as a Black or Hispanic male with a goatee, between 5'8" and 5'10" with a medium build. He was wearing a grey zippered sweat shirt with black stripes on the sides, dark blue jeans, black boots, and a dark knit cap.
Police said a dye pack went off in the robber's front pocket.
