Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife, Hillary, at Dickinson College in Carlisle Thursday.  Students there are psyched.

"Bill Clinton's been an idol of mine," said Lee Tankle, who campaigns for Hillary on campus.  "I'm absolutely ecstatic he's coming to Dickinson College."

Clinton will speak at the Kline Athletic Center, on the corner of High and Cherry Streets.  The event is expected to begin at 3:15 p.m.  It is free and open to the public.  About 2500 people can fit into the arena.

"The majority of students are excited to see this man who ran our country for most of our adolescent years," said Emily Lasota, a Republican.  "He was very influential on most of us, so we're excited to see him."

Dickinson is just one of many stops Clinton will make at schools across Pennsylvania.  Political Science professor Jim Hoefel says it appears he's going after younger voters, who typically favor Barack Obama (web|news|bio) .

"I think it makes sense to have somebody like Bill Clinton come out and motivate and energize the younger population," Hoefel said.  "If you think about who can Barack Obama send out who has this kind of star power, this kind of celebrity capacity...there isn't anyone."

"I think he knows that the youth vote, especially in this election year, is more important than it has ever been in recent years," said student Caitlin Rice.

Each student hopes Clinton will take questions from the audience.

"Probably the first question I'd like to ask is, if Senator Clinton is elected, what do you expect your title to be," said Tankle.  "First Gentleman or Mr. President?"

If you come, it's important to note no backpacks or bags will be allowed inside the event.
