Several people sustained minor injuries Thursday when a mini-van plowed through the front of a restaurant in Cumberland County. It happened shortly before seven o'clock at the Five Guys restaurant on the Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township.
Police say the mini-van was driven by 66-year old Sharon Heikel of Mechanicsburg. She suffered some kind of diabetic episode that apparently caused the accident.
About a half-dozen people were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The restaurant did not sustain any structural damage but will need a very large front window.
