Susquehanna Township, Pa. - Police say a Dauphin County man told them he took his children to the pool at his apartment complex so they could smoke marijuana and he could over oversee them.
S. James Dignazio, 45, denied smoking the pot, but was charged with two counts of corruption of minors for the incident at the Wedgewood Hills Apartments in Susquehanna Township, police said.
Police say they were investigating a suspicious persons report when they found Dignazio among a group of six adults and two juveniles at the pool Thursday at around 4:50 p.m. Police said they confiscated marijuana and drug paraphernalia after smelling a strong odor of burnt pot.
Dignazio's sons, 24-year-old Daniel and 18-year-old Joseph, of Liverpool, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as was 20-year-old Ricky Bouder, 20, of Millerstown.
Dignazio's nine-year-old daughter and 16-year-old niece, who were among the group, were released to relatives.
