Middletown Police filed new charges of sexual assault of a child against a Harrisburg man already wanted by state police on allegations he escaped from a halfway house.
Dale Jerome Roberts, 55, is accused of committing a number of sex offenses against a boy between June 2004 and February 2005, when the boy was 12 and 13 years old, police said.
The new charges include involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor.
Roberts fled from his last known address at the Community Correction Center in Harrisburg on February 23, police said.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Roberts is asked to call Middletown Police at 717-948-3000.
