Noon Crash Shuts Down I-81 in Cumberland County

A New York man was cited with several traffic violations after an crash that closed part of Interstate 81 in Cumberland County today for about three hours.
State police said Jeffrey T. Brisbane, 46, of Lakeville, NY, lost control of his tractor-trailer on I-81 south in South Middleton Township and struck a ditch in the median.
The truck overturned in the northbound lanes, blocking both lanes of travel just before noon.
A car traveling north on I-81 was struck by flying debris from the crash, cracking its windshield. The driver was not hurt.
Crews were able to get the tractor-trailer removed around 2:45 p.m.
