Harrisburg, Pa. - Federal prosecutors say a Lebanon County man will spend eight years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Leonard Bennethum Jr., 45, of Newmanstown, was sentenced today to 97 months imprisonment and 15 years of supervised release.
Police said they seized more than 900 videos and 49,000 images of child pornography from Bennethum's home in March 2008. U.S. Attorney Martin C. Carlson said some of the images depicted abuse of infants.
Bennethum pleaded guilty to the charges.
