Teen Reports Kidnapping Attempt

A teenager says she was the victim of a kidnapping attempt in northern Dauphin County, according to state police.
The 17-year-old girl told police the incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday in Elizabethville.
She said she was approached from behind in the area of West Broad and North Church streets by someone who grabbed her around the stomach, covered her mouth and tried to put a bag over her head.
She told police her attacker ran away when she screamed.
