Police: Robbery Suspect Surrendered after Family Recognized Him

A Mechanicsburg man accused in the robbery of a York County gas station turned himself in to police Tuesday night.
James Edgar Crisamore Jr., 41, was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, theft, and receiving stolen property in Saturday's robbery of the Hess Gas Station at 3311 North George Street in Emigsville.
Northern York County Regional Police said Crisamore pulled a knife when he demanded money from the clerk.
Police said Crisamore's family recognized him in a security camera photograph of the robbery that had been distributed to news media and convinced him to surrender.
