A number of cars and businesses in Dauphin County were targeted by vandals early Friday. In Harrisburg, seven stores in Kline Plaza on 28th street had their glass doors and windows shot out. There were no injuries and nothing was taken. Business owners believe the shots were fired from a vehicles. "I came here at 8:30," said Shivam Kinjaya, owner of Smoker's Stop. "That's when I open my store. And I saw next door the glass was completely broken. And then I saw my door. It was shattered." Police believe BBs or pellets caused the damage.
A few miles away in Swatara Township at least six vehicles were targeted by vandals along Kelker Street. Patrick Duggan found out from a neighbor that the driver side window of his SUV was shattered. "They apparently never got out of their car," said Duggan. "If they broke into your car to take something, you might understand it. This is stupid. I just hope they catch them."
At this point, police aren't linking any of the crimes.
