An overnight garage fire in the City of York is under investigation.
It started around midnight behind a home on the 100 block of Jackson Street.
The fire may have started when some fireworks hit the roof, Lt. Chad Deardorff said.
The flames also set some power lines on fire, which created a challenge for firefighters.
"Obviously water and electricity do not match, so we had to wait until Met Ed got here so we could begin our firefighting efforts," Deardorff said.
The garage was destroyed, but flames did not spread to the home.
