Lower Paxton Township, Pa. - Police are investigating the thefts of five motorcycles in Dauphin County early Thursday and are seeking information on a U-Haul rental box truck connected to the crimes.

Lower Paxton Township police said a resident of the 900 block of Iroquois Court, in the Lakewood Hills apartment complex, was awakened by a noise and saw the truck leaving at a high rate of speed at around 3:40 a.m. He later found his 2006 Yamaha was missing.

Police said a 2007 Suzuki was stolen from the 4500 block of Sequoia Drive, in the same apartment complex, and a 1999 Suzuki was taken from the nearby Eagle's Crest apartments.

Two more motorcycles were stolen from the 4200 block of King George Drive in The Brook at Colonial Park apartments, where a video surveillance system recorded the truck at the time of the thefts. The truck has a Prince Edward Island decal on the box sides.

Police believe four people are involved in the thefts. In the video, two suspects are seen getting out of the truck shortly before it backs up the street and then speeds forward out of the apartment complex.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lower Paxton Township police at 717-657-5656.
