Lower Allen Township, Pa. - An 18-year-old Cumberland County man is accused of stabbing a juvenile during an assault Wednesday night.
Lower Allen Township police said Anthony Shertzer came up behind the victim and placed the knife against his throat. The victim, who was not identified, struggled to get away and was stabbed in the hand. He was treated by Lower Allen EMS at the scene.
Police said the incident occurred in an apartment building in the 700 block of Rupp Avenue. The victim then went to his home in the 4100 block of Gettysburg Road and reported the assault at approximately 9 p.m., police said.
Shertzer was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangerment, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and committed to Cumberland County Prison on $25,000 bail.
