Lee Anna Worley says she never really wanted to be in a movie - until now. Worley, 87, will audition for an 'extra' role in Ernest Borgnine's new movie, 'Another Harvest Moon.'
The auditions will take place Wednesday at the Harrisburg State Hospital, where the movie will be filmed.
"I'm hoping we get a chance to have some sort of a role in the movie," Worley said. "Not a big role, but at least be able to be part of it."
Worley will travel to the auditions with fellow Manor Care residents Jo-Ann Paul, 62, and Margaret Rollins, 89. Rollins says she might flirt with Borgnine if she gets the chance. "Maybe I have a chance with him," she said.
'Another Harvest Moon' will be set in a nursing home. Mature extras are needed.
The ladies will audition Wednesday at 10 a.m. Auditions are open to the public, although movie executives warn it is expected to be crowded.
"Whatever part they want for us, it would be nice," said Paul. "Even if it's a non-speaking role, at least we'll be seen."
Filming is expected to begin this weekend. The movie also stars Doris Roberts and Cybil Shepherd.
