The state Attorney General's office has filed a consumer protection lawsuit against a Cumberland County home improvement contractor.
The lawsuit accuses James Ryan Ward of failing to complete various home improvement projects, performing the work in an unsatisfactory manner, and failing to inform consumers of their three-day right to cancel a contract.
Ward was doing business as Windy Ridge Construction at 590 Baltimore Pike in Mount Holly Springs.
Attorney General Tom Corbett said the consumer protection lawsuit seeks restitution for consumers and a court order prohibiting Ward from operating in Pennsylvania until full restitution has been paid to all victims.
The consumer protection lawsuit was one of 11 filed Thursday against home improvement contractors across the state.
