Man Arrested for Attempted Break-In at Girlfriend's Home

An Enola man has been arrested and charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and public drunkenness after trying to break into his estranged girlfriend's home.
Silver Spring Township Police arrested 27-year-old Richard Vazquez on the 800 block of West Trindle Road in Mechanicsburg early Thursday morning. Police were responding to a disturbance call by 26-year-old Taryn Yohn who lives at the residence and reported that Vazquez was trying to enter her home.
Police said Yohn told Vazquez to leave and that he was not permitted at the residence.
Vazquez refused to leave and was attempting to enter the residence through a window as police arrived.
Vazquez is being held at Cumberland County Prison on $10,000 bail.
