Harrisburg Man Arrested, Charged with Assault

Harrisburg police arrested a man in connection with an assault earlier this month.
Harrisburg Mayor Stephen Reed said that 43-year-old Sean I. Smith was arrested and charged with aggravated assault for the June 15 stabbing incident. The victim said she had gotten into an argument with Smith on the 1600 block of Herr Street. The argument culminated with Smith attempting to stab her multiple times with a pair of scissors.
Smith was taken to Dauphin County Prison but was later released on $5,000 bail.
