A Carlisle man faces charges he beat a woman because he was tired of her snoring, according to court papers.

Jeffrey L. Dull, 36, was arrested Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and stalking.

State police said the victim, 48-year-old Vickie A. Getz of Boiling Springs, was treated at Holy Spirit Hospital for severe bruises and cuts on her face, neck, back, and arm. She was later flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center when a CT scan revealed a traumatic brain injury.

Getz told police she was punched in the left eye and neck and kicked in the back by Dull Tuesday morning because she snores at night, the court papers state.

Dull admitted to police that he punched Getz because she was snoring and he was tired of it, according to the court papers.
