Bridgewater, NJ - Aaron Herr went 3 for 4, nailing two home runs and a triple for seven RBI, but the Lancaster Barnstormers couldn't catch the Somerset Patriots and lost 13-10, Wednesday night.
Herr put Lancaster up 3-0 in the first with his first homer. His two-run triple in the third increased the lead to 5-1.
Somerset tied it up in the forth when Travis Anderson doubled home two runs, Teuris Olivares added an RBI single, and Eddie Camacho walked Sean Smith with the bases loaded.
Lancaster took back the lead in the fifth, scoring three on Danny Bravo's double and Herr's two-run homer, but Somerset scored two in the bottom of the inning and took the lead for good by plating five more in the sixth.
The win completed a three-game sweep for Somerset.
