Halifax, Pa. - State police are attempting to identify two men suspected of stealing groceries from a Dauphin County supermarket.
The suspects were photographed by surveillance cameras at the Giant Foods, at 3777 Peters Mountain Road, in Halifax Township at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Police said they loaded up a shopping cart and left the store without paying.
When the two men were confronted in the parking lot by a store employee, police said they fled in a black-colored Dodge pick-up truck and left most of the groceries behind.
Police said the suspects got away with approximately $50.00 worth of grocery items. The items left behind amounted to about $864, police said.
