Mount Joy Township, Pa. - Police are investigating the theft of four commercial-grade lawn mowers in Lancaster County.
Northwest Regional police said the mowers were taken from Messick Farm Equipment in Mount Joy Township between 6 p.m. Saturday and Monday morning.
Police said it appears several suspects drove the zero-radius turning-type mowers through fields adjacent to the business. The mowers, valued in excess of $47,000, were driven to a secluded area where they were loaded onto a truck, police said.
Two of the tractors were 2009 Kubota model numbers ZD331 and ZD326P and two were 2009 Ferris model numbers IS3100 and IS5100.
Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to call Northwest Regional police at (717) 367-8481.
