Walker Twp., Juniata Co. - Two Lancaster County residents are facing drug charges after they were orginally stopped for a traffic violation in Juniata County.
It happened Thursday afternoon shortly before one o'clock. Police pulled over a car for a traffic violation on route 322 in Walker Township. Two people were in the car: 28-year old Nicholas Galowitch of Ephrata and 25 year old Corey Salzano of Lititz. When police searched the vehicle they found two ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills.
Police say Galowitch admitted to the marijuana being his. He was planning on selling it at the Phish concert in Pittsburgh. Galowitch also had a "Mojorola" pager made by Cheech Inc. which contained a false compartment. That compartment had marijuana in it as well.
Galowitch was charged and sent to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Police say Salzano will be charged also.
