New Britain, Conn. - Leonard Davis smacked a two-run double in the eighth, capping off a four-run rally that pushed the Harrisburg Senators ahead of New Britain, 5-3, Wednesday night.
The Rock Cats took the lead in the first when Whitney Robbins scored Brandon Roberts on an RBI single. Allan de San Miguel added a two-run triple in the second to put New Britain up 3-0.
Harrisburg got on the board in the fifth drove a solo homer over right field.
The Senators then took advantage of a pitching change in the eighth, as Edgardo Baez and Matthew Whitney led off the inning with back to back singles against Alex Burnett and Luke Montz doubled in the first run of the inning. Montz was tagged at third on Michael Daniel's force out grounder, but Whitney scored the tying run - setting the stage for Davis's game-winning double.
