Police made two arrests in connection with a June 24 home invasion and armed robbery in Carlisle.
Todd Pierre Davenport, 26, of Harrisburg, and Zachary Tylor Binkley, 17, of Carlisle, are accused of breaking into a home in the 600 block of North West Street and holding a gun to the head of an elderly woman who lived there. They fled with $400 in cash, two pocketbooks and two wallets, according to police.
The Cumberland County District Attorney's Office is prosecuting Binkley as an adult.
Davenport was arrested on unrelated charges three days after the home invasion. When searched, police found a handgun similar to the one used in the robbery, along with personal checks, credit cards and identification belonging to the victims, according to Carlisle Mayor Kirk Wilson.
Davenport and Binkley face charges of robbery, burglary, theft, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Binkley was committed to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail. Davenport was placed in the prison after his earlier arrest.
Wilson said the investigation into two earlier home invasions is continuing. The robberies occurred May 9 in the 100 block of F Street and May 30 in the 1200 block of North West Street.
