Police in central Pennsylvania say a wrong-way driver caused a three-vehicle crash that killed him and the wife of a New York gospel singer.
State police say 58-year-old Betty Wright of Roosevelt, N.Y., died in the crash late Friday on Interstate 80 eastbound in Clinton County.
A Geisinger Medical Center spokesman says her husband, the Rev. Timothy Wright, and their grandson, 14-year-old D.J. Wright, remain critically injured.
Timothy Wright's latest album, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," came out last year.
The hospital says a passenger in the third vehicle, 23-year-old Heather Berringer of Marion, Ohio, remains in fair condition.
Police are not releasing the dead driver's name until relatives are notified.
