Police are investigating burglaries that have occurred at seven Chinese restaurants in Dauphin and Cumberland counties over the last month.
At each of the restaurants, the burglars forced their way inside and stole money.
Four of the burglaries occurred in Swatara Township; at Marco Polo in the 4000 block of Chambers Hill Road between June 15 and June 16, Jumbo Buffet in the 2800 block of Paxton Street between June 17 and June 18, New China Buffet in the 900 block of Eisenhower Boulevard between June 21 and June 22, and at New China Wok in the 6300 block of Grayson Road on July 6.
Other burglaries in Dauphin County occurred at the Evergreen Chinese buffet in the 4200 block of Union Deposit Road in Lower Paxton Township between June 24 and June 25 and at Great Wall in the 3800 block of Union Deposit Road between July 4 and July 5.
In Cumberland County, police are investigating two break-ins at the Ho Wah restaurant in Lemoyne. During the first burglary between June 24 and June 25, money and a computer were stolen. Between July 4 and July 5, someone forced their way into the building but did not take anything.
