Police: Possible Luring Attempt in Mechanicsburg

Mechanicsburg police are looking for a man who possibly attempted to lure a child on July 3.
According to police, a male in an older-model blue-gray sedan pulled up to a 7-year-old boy in Wyndham Place and began talking to him. A concerned resident came outside to ask the boy if he knew the man, and the man drove away.
The man was described as a white male in his 40s or 50s with dark hair and glasses. He was also described as "greasy looking." A police report indicated that the same man was seen looking at children in Adams-Ricci Park in Enola.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Hampden Township Police at (717) 761-2609. Parents are asked to call the police immediately when incidents such as this occur.
