Mechanicsburg Woman Interrupts Home Invader

A Mechanicsburg woman reported that she returned to her home in the 100 block of Washington Street Friday night to find a stranger person in her bedroom, according to police.
The woman told police the stranger had a knife and tried to stab the her, but that she was able to fight off her attacker with the help of her dogs.
She suffered only a few minor injuries. Her attacker escaped.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Mechanicsburg Police at (717) 691-3300.
