Lebanon Police Officer Injured in Crash

A Lebanon City police officer was injured in a crash while responding to a call for a domestic dispute Sunday evening.
Bithia Rissinger was admitted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. at North 2nd and Lehman Streets.
The impact knocked the patrol car into the porch of a house, trapping Rissinger in the vehicle. Lebanon City firefighters had to cut the roof off the car to get her out.
A 16-year-old male was driving the other vehicle, according to police. He did not initially seek medical attention, but it is believed to have sought medical examination later, police said.

While the officer was responding to a call, it doesn't say that she was speeding. Also, there are times when the police do not want to use their lights/siren. I don't know what the situation was, I just hope that all involved are okay.
