Motorcyclist Killed in Lebanon County

The crash occurred at around 1 p.m. on Route 72, about a mile north of Interstate 81, in Union Township.
Police said the motorcyclist - 26-year-old Kevin E. Heist, Jr.., of Jonestown - was struck by an SUV that, for unknown reasons, crossed into his lane of travel.
Heist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the SUV - 46-year-old Debra Bucher, of Lebanon - was not injured.
Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
