Lower Paxton Township, Pa. - Two pieces of heavy construction equipment valued at more than $144,000 were stolen from a work site in Dauphin County over the weekend, according to police.

Lower Paxton Township police said the Caterpillar trackhoe and a John Deere backhoe were taken from the Monticello Heights townhouse development construction site on Crums Mill Road.

The theft is the second such incident in a month. The three pieces of construction equipment were valued at more than $300,000.
