Police are looking for a Harrisburg man wanted in two burglaries which occurred in the 1200 Block of Derry Street.
Adalberto Ruiz, 31, is suspected of cutting a hole into a wall of the Neighborhood Market and stealing money and cigarettes, according to a news release from Mayor Stephen Reed's office.
Ruiz first forced his way into an apartment at 1240 Derry Street, where he made a large hole in a wall, and, once inside, cut a second hole leading to the store, according to Reed.
Police consider Ruiz a person of interest in other burglaries that have occurred in the area in the past two weeks.
Burglars have struck three times at the Neighborhood Market, twice at Angel's Pizza, and once at Munchies Market , where a brick wall was smashed to gain entry into the building.
Anyone with information on Ruiz's whereabouts is asked to call Harrisburg Police at (717) 255-3131.
