A powerful state senator from Philadelphia says he is anxious on the eve of his federal corruption trial.
Sen. Vincent Fumo says he has no way of knowing if a jury will find him innocent. His trial begins a week from Monday.
Fumo tells The Philadelphia Inquirer that he's never been one to throw in the towel. He has twice before beaten corruption charges.
Prosecutors say Fumo and others misused millions of dollars from a neighborhood nonprofit group, a Philadelphia seaport museum and the state Senate. Fumo says he's innocent.
The jury trial is expected to last for months. Fumo has announced that he will not seek another term after 30 years in the Senate.

Yeah, he ought to be anxious.
They say "The 3rd time is the charm" so we can only hope that this piece of dirt is finally going to jail.
