A fight over a girl led to the stabbing of a 19-year-old York County man in the parking lot of a Shrewsbury convenience store Tuesday night, according to police.
Alex J, Donaldson, 15, of Shrewsbury Township, is charged as an adult with aggravated assault and simple assault.
Donaldson is accused of stabbing Michael Horn, of Shrewsbury, twice in the back during a fight outside the Rutter's Farm Store on Main Street, according to Southern Regional Police Chief James Childs.
Childs said the fight was over Donaldson's girlfriend. Donaldson had heard Horn kissed the 18-year-old girl during a senior trip to Ocean City, Maryland in June, according to police.
Donaldson was released to his parents after posting $10,000 bail.
Horn remains in York Hospital in satisfactory condition.
