State police say several current and former students at Upper Dauphin High School are accusing a teacher and coach at Upper Dauphin Area High School of having inappropriate contact with them.

The allegations include inappropriate touching and sending sexually charged text messages during school hours. abc27 News is not naming the teacher because he has not been charged, although prosecutors say it's only a matter of time.

State police filed a search warrant to seize the teacher's cell phone and to search his phone records. We're told he has been suspended without pay.

State police say they would like a phone call from anyone with information about this specific teacher.

"There may be potentially more victims out there, but we're also looking for anybody that has any information, first or second hand knowledge, of these incidents please contact State Police Lykens," said Trooper Karl Schmidhamer.

The number to call is 362-3043.

abc27 News will continue to monitor this case and bring you updates as information becomes available.

thinkbeforeyoutype                                                                                                                                    i think its not the profession that we bust on is the problem? there are ones out there that are good educators(big difference to being a teacher). the real problem that i think (know) is the management of the the proffession. we have left it go so far out of hand with rules and regs and forgot the real thing is the education of our children??? but seeing and hearing the majority of the profession's  concerns  have led to the downfall of the public school system??? you can't close the door on the school house until you rid them of the problems that still hide with in the school and their union.
