Pequea, Pa. - A Lancaster County man is accused of stealing two goats from a farm and then killing the animals at his home.
State police say Calvin J. Flahart, 26, of New Providence additionally stole a log splitter, chainsaw and other tools from a barn along Fox Hollow Road in Martic Township. The total value of the stolen property exceeded $1,100.
Police say after committing the burglary in January, Flahart shot the goats - named "Billy" and "Junior" - at his home.
He was charged with burglary, theft and cruelty to animals.
