Enola, Pa. - Fire forced a family from their home in Cumberland County late Tuesday.
Four people were inside the Enola home, in the 100 block of East Dauphin Street, when the fire began at around 9:45 p.m. Everyone made it out unharmed.
Nine-year-old James Branoff said he got a fire extinguisher for his dad and saved the family pet. "He's like, quick, grab it. I grabbed it and gave it to him. He tried spraying it and he burned himself and then I quickly took the dog and ran out," he said.
Family members say the fire started near their back porch. Police said the fire was caused by an electrical problem and has been ruled accidental.
The American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley said it is assisting the family of four with food and clothing.
