Funny, the regular state employee must sign all kinds of paperwork, listing their secondary jobs, especially of their spouses, and are NOT ALLOWED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, TO ACCEPT THESE TYPES OF GIFTS. Why are legislators allowed? And the legislators and executive branches cry because they don't get enough pay. I say do away with lobbyists. It is a form of legislation to the highest bidder. And yes, Theseif, we taxpayers take the shaft again.

I agree with the previous sentiments. ComCast.....Highmark.....I guess THEY are collecting money with their astonomical rates that they don't REALLY need.....so they GIVE IT AWAY to the politicians, who get FREE healthcare ANYWAY!!! Yes, theseif, we "peons" can't afford our own lobbyist because everyone else is grabbing our money FIRST!!!

Why is PA the only State without a lobbyist disclosure law? I guess it's less stressful to stuff your pockets with gratuities if the voters can't see it? Comcast has to raise our rates because their costs are going up ($408,000 spent on what?) Are the Health & Insurance providers ($2,040,519?) spending an equivalent amount on helping to solve the current Health care crisis? Greed is as Greed does. Please remember to vote for change...........

That money could have been used to lower some prices. But it is going to be used to keep prices higher. Maybe lobby is the wrong word, maybe it should be bribe.

Looks like everybody's got a lobbyist except us common taxpayers, we can't afford it, so I guess we're at the bottom of the legislature's list.

thats nuts. that 37 million could have been put to better use somewhere else other than the sticky lawyers and politicians. we all know thats were it went.
