Lebanon, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania soccer mom who packs a pistol will ask a judge to restore her concealed-weapons permit.

Meleanie Hain is scheduled to appear Tuesday afternoon in Lebanon County Court. She's appealing the county sheriff's revocation of her permit after other parents complained last month that she was carrying her loaded handgun in a holster at her daughter's soccer game.

Hain's lawyer says state law allows gun owners to carry their weapons openly without a license everywhere but Philadelphia.

Greg Rotz of Chambersburg says dozens of gun-rights supporters are expected to attend the hearing.

Rotz says he faced similar charges after he wore a sidearm to his voting precinct on Election Day last November. His case was thrown out in January.

ABC 27 Talkback: Soccer Mom to Ask Court to Restore Gun Permit
Gimmeabreak
Sorry, not scared of guns at all and have fired quite a few in my lifetime.  Just getting extremely bored, as are most of your fellow citizens, of hearing how your rights are being violated because you insist on acting like inbred fools who like to do stupid things like wear guns in the open at a soccer game.  Be mad at me all you want, but most of you are you own worst enemy and stunts like this ladies display that it all of it's glory.  So keep wearing you guns in public and chanting how you have rights, but don't whine and complaint when you wear that gun a little too open and someone calls the cops.  Because whether you like it or not, they're not going to know that you're a citizen exhibiting your "rights".  They're just going to know that you have a gun and are causing a panic and the next thing you know, you're going to be on the ground, face-down, in the dirt until they figure out what in the world made you cause such a scene and scared the crap out of everyone in sight.  It's called reality folks.
