Brownstown, Pa. - Police say a Virginia woman was driving with a suspended license when she caused a crash that killed a man in Lancaster County.
Barbara B. Carper, 57, of Milford, Va., was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of accidents involving death or personal injury while not property licensed.
West Earl Township police say Carper veered into oncoming traffic in the 4300 block of Oregon Pike and struck a car driven by Eugene Cain on July 22. Cain, of Lancaster, died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
Carper was arraigned before a district judge and released on her own recognizance pending a preliminary hearing.
