Manheim Township, Pa. - Police say they have filed additional charges against a Lancaster County man accused of locking his one-year-old child inside a house.
Manheim Township police say a search of Anselmo J. Rivera's vehicle turned up a stolen laptop, a stolen handgun, crack cocaine and marijuana.
Rivera, 25, of Lancaster, was charged with receiving stolen property as well as drug and firearm violations - in addition to endangering the welfare of a child for an incident that occurred Wednesday in East Petersburg.
Police say he got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend, who fled her home. Rivera also left the residence, locking the couple's child inside with no way for the mother to get back in, according to police.
Rivera was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
