Delta, Pa. - A pair of burglars picked the wrong time and place when they broke into a York County home.
State police said the men removed property from a home in the 1200 block of Papermill Road, in Peach Bottom Township, and were about to leave in a pickup truck just as the home owner - an off-duty Baltimore County police officer - pulled into the driveway.
The officer, Steven Czawlytko, followed the vehicle until the suspects jumped out and ran away, police said.
One of the burglars was tasered and arrested a short time later. Police did not release his name but said charges are pending against him.
The other suspect remained at large after a two-hour search. Police said the investigation continues into his identity.
