York, Pa. - A national study says college graduates need to be more professional. As a result, a local college is taking action.

In the study, business leaders across the country said they are not seeing the skills they desire the most ; demeanor, attitude, appearance, and respect.

York College held its first of many seminars aimed at addressing the issue in an effort to give graduates an advantage.

"Given the current job market, whatever competitive advantage someone has is going to work out to their advantage, " Professor David Polk said.

York College officials say they plan to improve their curriculum across the board.
