Harrisburg, Pa. - Police are searching for people who stole purses from two different businesses in Swatara Township.

On Nov. 12 and 13, purses were stolen from Wal-Mart on Grayson Road and Target on Lindle Road in Harrisburg. Credit cards from the purses were later used at Target at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 12 for a total of $741, and on Nov. 15 at 11 p.m. at Wal-Mart for $550.

Another credit card was also used at a Wal-Mart in York on Nov. 15 for $1,154.

The photographs of the suspects below are from security video at Target.

Police are warning people to watch their purses when they're shopping, especially during the holiday season. Don't ever leave them unattended.

Better yet, scale down - take only what you need, like a driver's license and the only credit card you're going to use. Leave the rest at home.

If you have any information about the identities of the people in the photographs, call Swatara Township Police at 558-6900.

ABC 27 Talkback: Purses Stolen From Local Businesses
millerkmderr
Indeed this is Mindy Hoey or Smith (new last name unknown) and her most recent husband (Nicknamed Wallee).  They have stolen a white mini van from northeast PA from here sister as well as stole money and items from her house. The white van is in the above picture in parking lot.  These two are both addicts and have been seen as early as Sunday Nov 23rd in the area of 13th St and Derry in Harrisburg.  Law enforcement has done little if anything at all to apprehend these two.  All info has been given to law enforcement as to their possible whereabouts. They will continue to steel purses and credit cards from anyone which should be obvious since she has stolen from her own sister.  They are also wanted for questioning in Swatara about a purse that was stolen out of the car of a mother who was dropping her child off at Day Care.
