Allentown, Pa. - An autopsy today did not reveal what caused the death of a hunter found near the Michaux State Forest in Adams County.
Investigators say there were no sings of trauma on the body of 26-year-old Chad Stroup. Results of toxicology tests are pending.
Stroup left his home in Columbia on Tuesday morning to scout for hunting spots. His parents called police when he didn't return that night.
After a 16-hour search with dogs, ATVs and helicopters, state police found his body Wednesday afternoon in a shallow creek; about a half-mile from where they found his truck. Police said there were no signs of foul play.
