Mechanicsburg, Pa. - A Harrisburg man battling cancer is getting a little help from his friends this weekend, and you can help too.
Dan Lyons, 28, was diagnosed with leukemia in June.
When his class president from Trinity High School heard about his battle, she decided to fore-go a typical class reunion and hold a 5K run for Lyons instead.
The "All Will Be Well 5K Run" is tomorrow at Trinity High School in Mechanicsburg.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and 5K runners will start at 10:30, followed by walkers at 11 a.m.
A portion of the proceeds will help Lyons during this difficult time.
At the event, people can also join the Bone Marrow Transplant Registry.
