Columbia, Pa. - Three Lancaster County residents face charges in the theft of television sets.
Columbia police say a man and woman took three LCD TV's from the CVS store, at 615 Locust Street, on Dec. 18 and fled in an older white sedan.
A witness took down the license plate number of the vehicle as it fled the scene, and Manor Township police stopped the sedan in the 2100 block of Columbia Ave. Officers on scene could see the TV's in the vehicle and took the three occupants of the vehicle into custody, police said.
The three taken into custody were identified as Jose Mercado Cartagena, 26, of Lancaster; Angela Iquina, 30, of Windsor; and Angelita Mercado-Hensley, 40, of Lancaster.
Mercado Cartagena was sent to Lancaster County Prison after being arraigned on retail theft charges.
Charges for retail theft, DUI, and driving with a suspended license are pending on Angela Iquina.
Mercado-Hensley was sent to Lancaster County Prison on an outstanding warrant through Dauphin County.
